Another quite unique car to the Milwaukee were their 2 steam heat generator cars #70 and 71 built from 50 foot Merchandise cars. These cars were converted in 1944 to support war-related high traffic volumes along the Lines West electried region. This craftsman kit had been designed by Stan Rydarowicz and includes resin car sides, doors and ends (with correct prototypical height and end details) which are designed to be fit to the included Rib Side Cars underframe. Also included are pre-formed hand grabs and roof walk. We recommend adding Walthers Ribside Caboose Trucks (part number 933-1322). Trucks are not included with this kit.
